The Client's Needs
Probiotec wanted to upgrade their existing microfiltration as part of a planned system upgrade. They required extremely high purified water for use in the production of various pharmaceutical products.
The Laverton pharmaceutical manufacturing plant produces a majority of Probiotec’s products and delivers the highest standards of quality and cost efficiency.
Veolia's Solution
Veolia Water Technologies was awarded the contract for the design, supply, commissioning and validation of the Purified Water Generation System.
This treats municipal town mains water to meet Purified Water Standards for use in pharmaceutical products.
The total treatment package includes a Quattro™ unit featuring media filtration, cartridge filtration, softeners, activated carbon, reverse osmosis, CEDI and UV.
The water treatment package provides a modern, reliable treatment system which is critical to Probiotec’s production.
